As reported earlier, Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph's much-awaited sequel 'Drishyam 2' is set to go on floors from September 21. Prior to that, the entire team has taken up COVID-19 tests. The makers of the film have arranged separate living spaces for the team to stay during the shoot time.

Reportedly, Mohanlal will join the sets by September 26 and only indoor shooting will happen for 10 days in Kochi. The second schedule is expected to go on floors in Thodupuzha.

‘Drishyam 2’ is a sequel to the 2013 superhit Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph. The sequel will also feature Mohanlal and Meena playing the couple Georgekutty and Rani George. The movie's story is set seven years after the original film story ends and also has Ansiba Hasan and Esther Anil returning. The sequel is said to have no crime elements and will focus only on family-drama.
