The movie Draupadi directed by Mohan G who had earlier directed the movie Pazhaya Vannarapettai starring Prajin, has got into a controversy with netizens dividing into two sections, one opposing the movie as a movie against a particular section of people and another supporting the movie.

Recently the trailer of the movie was released and was trending on social media. Few days back, a Tamil magazine had carried an article on the movie and the connection of director Mohan with Thala Ajith, questioning if Ajith supports casteist movies.

Now Mohan has posted a video of his daughter kissing the photo of Ajith and has tweeted that this was his gift to those who had written the article connecting Ajith who is in no way connected to the film. Draupadi has actor Richard, Ajith's brother in law playing the lead role.
