At the memorial place of two acres land where Dr Vishnuvardhana was cremated two years ago the death anniversary was in full swing on December 30.

For the flower decked cremation portion of Dr Vishnuvardhana his wife and son in law came in the morning with two daughters and offered Pooja. Later Karnataka medical education minister Ramdas who hails from Mysore was present to inaugurated the various health camps at this place. Shivaramanna, K Manju and his wife, producer Vijayakumar, Kanteerava director Vishukumar and others were present at the memorial place.

The medical education minister sanctioned medical help to elephantiasis victim Vishwanth ardent fan of Dr Vishnuvardhana who has come from Channagiri. There was mass feeding for the fans of Vishnuvardhana. The fans released the calendar of the icon.

With 2nd death anniversary celebrated at this place it is for sure that Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial will be only at this place. The idea of forming a memorial of Dr Vishnuvardhana at Mysore has been dropped.
