The Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi first national level festival of the icon of Kannada cinema Dr Vishnuvardhana of over 200 films is special in many ways.

The event slated for August 27 at Kannada Sangha of Moti Bhagh New Delhi starts at 6 am. NRI from Australia Balaram offering flowers to Dr Vishnu portrait marks the beginning. The festival will be inaugurated by literary personality Purushottam Bilimale. Dr Vijayamma, State Rakshana Vedike President TA Narayana Gowda, Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr Manu Baligar, Kannada Film Directors Association President Dr V Nagendra Prasad and State President of Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi Virakaputra Srinivas will be present at the well thought national festival.

Dr Vishnuvardhana contribution to cultural field a seminar will be taken part by journalists Jogi, B Ganapathi, Sadashiva Shenoy, KM Veeresh and B Nandakumar.

At 12 noon Dr Vishnuvardhana in the eyes of director seminar will be participated by Dwarakish, S Narayan, Dinesh Baboo, Bhargava and Bhagwan.

Dr Vishnuvardhana National award will be bestowed on veteran actor S Shivaram. KPCCI general secretary Dinesh Gundu Rao will do the honors in the program presided over by union minister Ananth Kumar. Simhavalokana` will be released at this event.

Plaster of Paris status will be inaugurated at 9 am; two films of Dr Vishnuvardhana films Naagarahavu and Muththina Haara will be screened. A photo exhibition from KM Veeresh is also part of the several attractions of this Dr Vishnuvardhana National Festival.

Sa Ra Govindu KFCC President, KCA chairman SV Rajendra Singh Babu, Ragini, Sadhu Kokila, Shobaraj, Charanraj and others are taking part in the event.

500 fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana are thronging at this venue from different parts of Karnataka. Playback singer Ajay Warier will be rendering best of Dr Vishnu films. 50 fans of Dr Vishnu receive honor on this occasion.
