Dr Rajasekhar in 'Marudhani'

Popular Telugu actor Dr Rajasekhar, who is known for action-packed movies, will be donning the role of a dotting brother in 'Marudhani'.
The Tamil version of Tollywood hit 'Gorintaku', 'Marudhani' will hit the screens soon. Directed by V R Prathap, the movie is about love and affection between a brother and sister - played by Rajasekhar and Meera Jasmine respectively.
Produced by K Prabhakar and R Krishna, the movie has Aarthi Agarwal, Jai Akash, Hema Choudhary, Mayilsamy, Aarthi and Payilvan Ranganathan in pivotal roles.
According to the producers, movies on brother - sister sentiment is a rarity these days. ÂMarudhani will certainly fill the void. It would be in the same league as 'Pasamalar' and 'Mullum Malarum'.
Loaded with sentiments, the movie can be watched with the whole family. Also commercial elements like action and humour have been woven into the script. A stunt sequence shot in a sugar mill is the highlight of the movie, they say.
With the support of producer R B Choudhary, we are gearing up for an early release. ÂMarudhani is an attempt to bring back the family audience to theatres. We are confident that the movie would be enjoyed by everyone in the family, they add.
