One day two prominent personalities of the Karnataka state made almost the same statement at two different places.

The union fertiliser minister Ananth Kumar has expressed his wish of setting up of a statue of Dr Rajakumar at Karnataka Bhavan in New Delhi on April 24 morning at a function in Ravindra Kalakshetra.

On the same evening at the Karnataka state film awards evening Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah sought for Dr Rajakumar statue at various places he had come and inaugurated the events in the past.

At an event in Ravindra Kalakshetra the union minister was speaking on April 24 morning at Dr Rajakumar birth anniversary organised by Karnataka information department and Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. Union minister recalled that Karnataka Bhavan in New Delhi was inaugurated by Dr Rajakumar.

The state government also join the hands in statue at Karnataka Bhavan in New Delhi he mentioned. It is also high time the life and works of Dr Rajakumar is made available in digital format he suggested.

Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa authority in speaking on Dr Rajakumar stated he was like perfect Kannada Meshtru`. SV Rajendra Singh babu urged all artists to join in celebrating the birth anniversary of Dr Rajakumar.
