The renowned personality from Karnataka Gnanapith award winner Dr Girish Karnad a high profile actor in Indian cinema has shown his commitment by attending ‘Bahuroopi 2018’ national theatre festival with Oxygen kit at Mysuru.

It was a surprise to the people who welcomed Dr Karnad. Showing the oxygen box Dr Karnad said the he has Shwasakosha (Respiratory) problem. Without this oxygen box, I will be having breath problem.

Recently I had acted in Salman Khan ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. I was on the sets with oxygen box. The unit members were cutting jokes that I am moving always with makeup.

Straightforward and jovial in his address Dr Girish Karnad is the pride of Karnataka spreading art in various other languages.

For the acceptance to theatre festival Dr Girish Karnad coming with commitment despite of ill health got applaud from the attendance at the festival.
