Smt Bharathi Vishnuvardhana met the Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa today morning and got the consent for the Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial foundation stone laying event on 30th of December.

It is on 30th of December last year Dr Vishnuvardhana completed his journey on earth. Exactly after one year on the two acres land meant for the memorial, the foundation will be laid.

On December 30 a procession headed by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, family members and fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana fans will begin at National College grounds and reach the memorial place.

The Karnataka chief Minister will lay the foundation for the memorial at 12 noon said Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana speaking to this correspondent.

Other event on the days will be, 10000 balloons will be released in the air by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Halappa Foundation and Red Cross society is conducting the blood donation, eye camp and free health camp for general public. Mass feeding has been organized at this place. 300 plus families of ‘Milana’ the house of HIV AIDS victims will be provided the necessary grains.
