The sixty plus stalwart of Kannada cinema Dr Ambarish, former MP, former Union minister and currently Minister of Housing in Congress I ruled Karnataka state government was hospitalized on Friday evening for breathing problem.

Within one hour of Dr Ambarish reaching Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru he was given treatment by Dr Satish and Dr Ranganath Nayak. It was ascertained lung infection. He was shifted to Intensive Care Unit for regular treatment for ailment. According to sources Dr Ambarish is on ventilator.

Dr Ranganath Nayak and Dr Satish are attending on the health of Dr Ambarish. He is in observation for one full day from yesterday night.

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, MP cum actress Ramya, Sudeep, Darshan and others visited the hospital on late in the night to inquire on health condition of Dr Ambarish. Mega star Chiranjeevi union tourism minister is visiting the hospital today to meet his best friend today says the sources.
