After a brief interval, Mohanlal is back to play the dual role. In Ranjan Pramod's Photographer, Mohanlal will don the dual role. Lal plays a wildlife photojournalist Dijo John.

Nitashri plays his wife. The film is based on the incident in Wayanad.

Buzz is that Pramod Mahajan had cast Mohanlal as a farmer in another role. Photographer had shaped up well and no doubt it would do well at the box-office.
