Movies with heroes in double role have altogether different attraction and pulls in more people than the usual commercial movies. ‘Aadhavan’ is a combination of several interesting facts. One, it is the second venture of Udhayanidhi Stalin’ Red Giant Productions after ‘Kuruvi’. Third, song sequences are shot exclusively in cool locales of Iceland, a rare location chosen by a film crew, for the first time. Interestingly it was Harris Jayaraj who had churned out beautiful scores for ‘Varanam Aayiram’- another double starrer movie, will handle the rhythmic parts for ‘Aadhavan’ too.

Putting the clock backwards, K. S. Ravikumar had delivered successful films roping famed heroes to play duel characters. Recent ‘Dasavatharam’ stand testimony as the fine example for his achievement.
