An oft-repeated theme is the focal point of director Suneel Darshan's latest venture "Dosti" releasing Friday.

At a time when filmmakers are touching upon different subjects, Darshan comes up with a story on friendship between the rich and the poor. "Dosti" revolves around two best friends, Bobby Deol and Akshay Kumar, who are as different as chalk and cheese.

Karan (Bobby) is a rich and carefree guy who lives life to the hilt whereas Raj (Akshay) is deprived of all such comforts. In fact he doesn't even have a place of his own to live in.

Karan gives Raj a home and all other material comforts and in return Raj gives him emotional security and also covers up for all his misdoings.

But like a bolt from the blue comes a raging storm that threatens their friendship. Will they succumb to it or will their bond survive the grueling test?

Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta add glamour to this film with an outdated theme.
