Director Tarun Mansukhani’s debut directorial ‘Dostana’, a mirthful comedy flick based on homosexuality will be screened on first day at iView Film Festival kick-starting on August 28.

The film produced by director Karan Johar, the film witnessed extraordinary collections at box office despite mixed reviews. Featuring John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles, the complete flick was shot across the locales Miami.

The film festival will be attended by director Tarun, actors John Abraham, Kirron Kher and Boman Irani. Nevertheless, the occasion will be carried on unattended by Abhishek and Priyanka due to prior commitments. The 3-day film festival at Lincoln Center will showcase more Indian films like veteran filmmaker Shyam Benegal's critically acclaimed 1983 film ‘Mandi’, Rituparno Ghosh's ‘Bariwali’ starring Kirron Kher and Mira Nair's ‘My Own Country’.

Zoya Akhtar’s debut directorial ‘Luck By Chance’ starring Farhan Akhtar, Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles will be screened on closing day of the fest.
