The pre-release event of 'Dear Comrade' was held in Hyderabad on Friday evening. The event, billed as a music festival, saw Rashmika Mandanna speak for the audience.
"Have you ever asked the girls in your house what they want to become when they grow up? In my house, when I told them I wanted to become an actress, they told me 'Do not' since it's not safe. They asked me to do household works. I fought for what I love and am standing in front of you. If you fight for what you love, you can stand in my place and I would be listening to you. This is a bloody amazing spot. Doesn't it look cool? I am feeling awesome. It's very important for each and every girl to watch 'Dear Comrade', not for its romance or action, but I want all of you to know the message we are sending across," Rashmika said.
Starring Vijay Deverakonda as the hero and directed by Bharat Kamma, the entertainer will release on July 26.
