It is well aware how Mega Star Chiranjeevi reacted to the comments made by Mohanbabu during the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Telugu cinema marking the completion of 75 years of Telugu film industry.

Again, Mohanbabu convened another press meet, after KS Rama Rao's misbehaviour at a press conference, and made it clear, saying, 'I did not make any adverse remarks against Chiranjeevi but only found fault with the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Committee on the lapses. Chiranjeevi is talking about the ill-treatment to Telugus in Goa and Delhi film festivals but I highlighted the ill-treatment meted out to our Telugu film industry people by our own people. I don't know why Chiranjeevi reacted so wildly on that day with lots of emotion.'

Reacting over the remarks made by Mohanbabu against Chiranjeevi, the Mega Star fans took out mock funeral processions for Mohanbabu's effigy and burnt them. Even they started making efforts to intensify their agitation.

In this backdrop, Pawan Kalyan issued a statement on behalf of Chiranjeevi saying, 'Dear fans. Don't resort to agitations. Your agitations are causing mental agony to our brother Chiranjeevi. Don't react to any comment by anyone. Chiranjeevi fans are said to be very disciplined. Don't spoil the image and we, the Mega Brothers, appeal to everyone to stop all kinds of agitations.'
