The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) has sounded a warning bell for parents and children. It has issued an advisory to warn everyone out there against certain deleterious video games hugely popular among children.
As per DCPCR, these games are harmful: PUBG, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, God of War, Hitman, Plague Inc and Pokemon. "These online games are negative and can have an adverse impact on the brain of children," the Commission says. The body feels that schools should sensitize the parents as well as children about the pitfalls of playing the games that involve murders and overspeeding of vehicles among others.
What makes the above games dangerous is that they normalize violence in the name of entertainment, a tweeple writes.
