Megastar Chiranjeevi has endorsed a Telugu film that is playing in theatres right now. It’s ‘Wild Dog’, which stars Nagarjuna in the role of an NIA officer.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday night, the ‘Sye Raa’ actor said that the film narrates the mission of NIA to nab terrorists who had carried out deplorable bomb blasts in Hyderabad and other parts of India. “The narration is realistic and the film is about the glory of real heroes,” Chiru wrote, congratulating Nag and director Ahishor Solomon. He also made a mention of producer Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments. “This is not the kind of movie that is made every week. It’s a rare movie that will make every Indian and Telugu person proud,” the Megastar wrote.
‘Wild Dog’, also starring Saiyami Kher, Mayank Parakh and others, is based on NIA’s operation to nab Yasin Bhakhtal in Nepal.
Meanwhile, the buzz is that Chiru is staring at an indefinite postponement of ‘Acharya’. As of now, the film is scheduled to release on May 13. If coronavirus takes a toll on theatrical occupancy, it will be postponed.
