Comedian Vadivelu's recent interview, where he had spoken disrespecting directors Chimbudeven and Shankar, and their works as well, in a derogatory manner, had turned viral, and the actor's words against the talented directors has invited a lot of criticism from the film industry itself.
Lot of directors like Samuthirakani, Naveen and Suseenthiran had condemned the top comedian, and now director Venkat Prabhu has posted a note on Twitter, captioning it "let's spread love not hatred, don't forget the creators" and tagged the three directors mentioned above, besides Shankar and Chimbudeven.
He note read, "A director is always the captain of the ship, as when a film succeeds, everyone gets praised, but when it fails, the director alone gets the blame. It was heartbreaking that a great artist had spoken low of the creator and the producer who had given him his biggest hit in his career. I am watching Chimbudeven closely, and he is not just a great creator but a great human. There's no need for anyone to speak of Shankar, he's someone who must be celebrated. We are all here to make people happy, and let's not have hatred, and only spread love. Don't forget the creators".
