Janhvi Kapoor is gradually working her way to cement her place as one of the most promising young actors of Bollywood. The trailer of her upcoming survival thriller 'Mili' was released recently and it has made it clear that Janhvi does not shy away for taking up off beat and risky roles as long as the script is compelling. However, the actress is often compared with her mother Sridevi and in a recent promotional event for 'Mili', her father Boney Kapoor urged the media not to compare Janhvi with the late actress.

Boney stated, "Everyone has a different mechanism to understand their character and become part of it. That was one of the major USP of Sridevi, and Janhvi also picks up the character or rather gets into the character. He further added that my baby that just started her journey and one shouldn't put her in comparison with any of the work of Sridevi."

The filmmaker then went on to heap praises on Sridevi by stating, "She also had a journey which was brilliant, she started as a child star but the North Indians saw her after she did more than 200 films in the South."

Helmed by Mathukutty Xavier, 'Mili' is set to release on 4th of November.
