'Dongalunnaru Jagratha' Trailer: First Telugu survival thriller has many firsts!

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,September 15 2022]

'Dongalunnaru Jagratha' is billed as Tollywood's first survival thriller. As things stand, it could also be 'Mathu Vadalara' fame Sri Simha Koduri's first out-and-out experimental credit.

Set to hit the screens on September 23, its trailer was released a while ago. The male lead, who plays a petty thief, is trapped into getting into a rich man's car. The protagonist faces a shattering experience in the car once he discovers that he has no way to get out of it. It's locked and the glass windows are unbreakable. Above all, there is a ticking time bomb that he must defuse at the earliest to survive.

A male caller rings him up and it seems he enjoys sounding bossy like a Bigg Boss. Is there a fantasy element in the movie?

Debutant director Satish Tripura has worked with budding actress Preethi Asrani and Tamil-Telugu actor Samuthirakani. Producers D Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati have worked with Kaala Bhairava (the 'Karthikeya 2' music director is in full form), Yeshwanth C (cinematographer), Garry BH (editor), and Gandhi Nadikudikar (art director).
