Why have I lost my Twitter followers: US Prez Trump questions Twitter CEO Jack

During an Oval Office meeting with Twitter’s CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey, US President Donald Trump reportedly argued with the former over losing plenty of Twitter followers periodically.
“Jack had a constructive meeting with the President of the United States today at the president's invitation. They discussed Twitter's commitment to protecting the health of the public conversation ahead of the 2020 U.S. elections and efforts underway to respond to the opioid crisis,” according to a Twitter spokesperson. Trump apparently claimed later that he lost a major number of his Twitter followers, to which Jack responded that Twitter always removed spam accounts and bots.
“A significant portion of the meeting focused on Trump’s concerns that Twitter quietly, and deliberately, had removed some of his followers. Trump said he had heard from fellow conservatives who had lost followers as well,” the spokesperson reported. Trump had earlier tweeted about the same on Tuesday, where he started off boasting about being the best thing to happen to Twitter and went on to complain about his lack of followers, accusing Twitter of removing them constantly.
Twitter periodically removes accounts belonging to spammers and bots from its system. A purge of fake accounts last year saw Trump lose 300,000 of his followers. Jack Dorsey had to reassure Trump that their efforts to clean up the platform led to nearly every person on Twitter losing some of their followers, including Jack himself.
“The best thing ever to happen to Twitter is Donald Trump.” @MariaBartiromo So true, but they don’t treat me well as a Republican. Very discriminatory, hard for people to sign on. Constantly taking people off list. Big complaints from many people. Different names-over 100 M.....

.....But should be much higher than that if Twitter wasn’t playing their political games. No wonder Congress wants to get involved - and they should. Must be more, and fairer, companies to get out the WORD!
