Former U.S. President Donald Trump is now facing federal criminal charges relating to his attempted undoing of the 2020 elections. Still, with the charges, he definitely calls it a witch hunt.

But the indictment didn't shake Trump's elemental dominance within the Republican Party. He remains a top 2024 candidate and continues to wage rallies of his backers against what he calls unfair persecution.
