Donald Trump is the former president of the USA. He is now the first former US president to be indicted, arrested and arraigned on criminal charges. The 76-year-old surrendered at the Manhattan District Court to face charges related to paying hush money to a porn star before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence.

Donald Trump has reportedly been charged on 34 counts related to falsifying business records tied to the hush money payment. He pleaded not guilty on all 34 charges and slammed his presidential successor Joe Biden's rule in his argument at the Court. Trump said that the case was "an insult to America" and added that the "country is going to hell".

Donald Trump entered the plea during a 45-minute arraignment as prosecutors unsealed a grand jury indictment. No video cameras were allowed inside the courtroom. Trump left the court after his arraignment. It is worth mentioning that he is seeking a Republican nomination for the White House again in 2024.
