The shooting of 'Don' directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by ML Kumar Choudary on the banner of Keerthi Creations with Nagarjuna in the lead was formally launched on February 1.

It is reliably learnt that Mamata Mohan Das is being roped in as the female lead against Nagarjuna. Another speciality of the film is that Lawrence is turning a music director through this flick.

Abburi Ravi, who scripted dialogues for super hit films like 'Bommarillu and Annavaram' is penning dialogues for this film, while noted cinematographer S Gopal Reddy is holding the camera.

Director Lawrence says, 'Generally, when we call someone a 'Don', it is understood that he is the leader of a mafia gang. But this film is going to give a new definition to the word 'Don'. The regular shooting of the film would begin from March.'
