VV Vinayak has urged Chiru's fans not to feel sorry that 'Khaidi No. 150' has received a raw deal in terms of theatres in Nizam and Ceeded territories and Krishna district. "I urge them to not worry. Cinema is bigger than everything else. A film earns what it has to. So, don't feel bad and don't use wrong words. One should be satisfied with these collections," the director said during a press meet held in Hyderabad some time ago.
"The film is doing phenomenally well everywhere from America to small villages. In my home village where no film ever grossed Rs. 5 lacs, 'Khaidi No. 150' already grossed Rs. 7 lacs as of yesterday. This is extraordinary," he said.
He thanked Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli and all others who have tweeted in praise of the film.
A meet will be held soon to thank the audience. The same will be attended by the Megastar and producer-son Ram Charan.
