Young director Cibi Chakravarthy made heads turn his way even before he got the chance to helm his first film 'Don'. He gained praises for being the brain behind the "Kutty Story" song video in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Cibi Chakravarthy who is busy with the postproduction work of 'Don' is an erstwhile assistant director of Atlee. He has revealed that during the making of 'Mersal' itself he had made a pilot video of 'Don' story featuring Kaali Venkat and Bala Saravanan. He had then one day requested Thalapathy Vijay during a break if he could watch it.

Cibi has shared that Thalapathy Vijay immediately obliged and invited him to his caravan during a break and not only watched it but enjoyed it very much and appreciated him. The megastar apparently did not stop with that but also told his costar S.J. Suryah about the film and encouraged the young filmmaker who obviously was floored.

'Don' which is slated for release in February 2022 has Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan as the lead pair supported by the ensemble cast of S.J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, Soori, Kaali Venkat, Bala Saravanan, Muniskanth, RJVijay, Sivaangi and Raju Jeyamohan. Anirudh is scoring the music.
