One can well expect the makers of 'Don 2' to be an anxious bunch. After all, this much awaited sequel is a mega crore venture featuring Shah Rukh Khan and though it is not being publicised as 'the biggest film ever' made, there are still big stakes involved. With just three weeks to go for the film's release, one wonders whether they are worried about the prospects of 'Don 2' since there has been a fair bit of negativity that has set in post 'Ra.One'.
"I guess there is no need to pick on 'Ra.One' here. Let me tell you thing though; at the end of the day if you keep aside the cost factor, there are still millions out there who went to theatres and saw the film. It may be good or bad but people went for Shah Rukh, hence accumulating collections of over 100 crores. If Shah Rukh was so much hated, the film would have crashed on it's third day," says Ritesh Sidhwani, co-producer of the film.
Another source from the production house adds, "The film is creating excitement and won't be impacted by the fate of 'Ra.One'. At the end of the day Shah Rukh's fan base is very much intact. He has given so much to this industry; he himself is least worried about the final outcome of 'Don 2'. Also, Farhan Akhtar is also very confident about the product that he has made. Don't worry, all is well."
Well, we hope so as well!
