The incident happened when the criminal Shiekh was working the night shift in a Houston Hospital. The victim Laura, now 32, was admitted for shortness of breath and wheezing. She was also heavily sedated. The doctor made multiple ‘check-ins’ sexually assaulting her.

During the trial, the doctor admitted to having sexual relations but contented that it was consensual only. However, the hospital has revoked his license and the court has ordered him to ten years of probation. Yes, just probation even after a 12 member jury found him guilty of the crime.
