Doctors are often referred to as people who belong to the noblest profession. But there are times when they prove it beyond mere words and move the people who trust in them. The latest such incidence is when Canadian doctors protested against their own salary hikes, yes they did!

About 500 doctors belonging to Quebec, Canada have been protesting the pay hikes given to them and even demanded that they be cancelled. The doctors instead have asked for the redistribution of the money for more nurses and towards affordable healthcare for patients. The tomal amount of the hiked salary amounts to roughly $700 million.

The online petition of the doctors stated that the pay rise was shocking because nurses, clerks and others face difficult working conditions and patients live with the lack of access to required services. Kudos to those doctors!
