Rakul Preet Singh believes in doing homework for her roles, especially if they are author-backed. The star actress is playing a doctor in the Hindi-language flick 'Doctor G'. And the 'Dhruva' actress has made it a point to attend medical classes in order to get into the skin of her character.
Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Shefali Shah in key roles, the film has Rakul as a rooted character. As Dr. Fatima, she will be seen mouthing medical jargon. A family entertainer, it is helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap, who asked the lead actors to attend special sessions. For the sake of ensuring authenticity, they even learned about handling surgical equipment.
Talking about her experience, Rakul said that her mannerisms and actions in the movie are going to be precise. "It was mandatory to learn important things related to the medical world to make it look real on screen. The journey of becoming Doctor Fatima was an amazing process which I will cherish forever," she said.
The process has taught the beauty what all goes into treating patients.
A campus comedy-drama, 'Doctor G' will be completed by the end of September.
