The Hollywood film ‘Aladdin’ has been dubbed into Telugu. Its Trailer is out and it features the voices of ‘Victory’ Venkatesh and Varun Tej. If the senior actor has lent his curious voice for the Genie, the Mega hero has done it for Aladdin. The film is slated to hit the screens on May 24.
Meanwhile, there is this buzz that Ram Charan will be dubbing for Salman Khan in the Telugu version of the much-awaited ‘Bharat’. This will be a piece of bigger news if it happens.
However, can big names giving their voices to dubbed movies mean anything? Will ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres’ audiences take ‘Bharat’ seriously if the Mega Power Star lends his voice? Dubbed movies from Hindi have rarely found their mojo in the Telugu States. Venkatesh or Charan, it’s the film that matters and not the one giving his or her voice.
