"In 2007, someone related to the YSR family tried to intimidate me to act in a movie. That day, I understood how powerful these people are to threaten someone like me for whom crores of fans will lay their lives," Pawan said in his party's Dowleswaram rally a few months ago.
Repeating the same during Jana Sena's Pravaasa Garjana in Dallas in the US, Power Star has spoken of the incident. "In 2007, a close relative of the YS Rajasekhar Reddy (who as the Cheif Minister of then united Andhra Pradesh) family tried to coerce me into doing a film under his production. I declined the offer as he was too belligerent," Pawan said.
The name of the producer of a Prabhas' film is being heard in this context.
The Jana Sena chief speaks of such issues to drive home the message that money and muscle power in politics is too big.
