DMK candidate list for 17th Lok Sabha elections is out!

India, the world's largest democracy is getting ready to witness the 17th Lok Sabha elections. Tamil Nadu has always been the hotbed of politics and the land of Dravidian parties has more often voted in a pattern entirely different from other states of India. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has formed a strong alliance of the opposition parties and it is called as 'Secular Progressive Front' (Madhacharbatra Munnetrak Koottani).

The DMK will be fielding its candidates in 20 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. The remaining seats have been allocated to the alliance partners of the front includes the Congress, CPI(M), MDMK and VCK among others. DMK has now released its list of candidates who will be contesting on behalf of the party under the Rising Sun symbol.
