Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha's death has shocked even her political rivals. DMK leader M.K.Stalin, the leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly visited the Rajaji Bhavan and paid last respects to the mortal remains of the iron lady.

While addressing the media persons at the venue Stalin open heartedly praised Jayalalitha for achievements and also expressed distress and shock about her untimely death.

"CM Jaytalalitha's death has come as a rude shock and caused distress to everyone. . I convey my condolences to the people of Tamil Nadu and ADMK cadre on behalf of the DMK and our leader M.Karunanidhi.

It is indeed a praiseworthy fact that she has stamped her unique mark as a leader of a group for Government's Mid Day Meal Scheme, as a Rajya Sabha Member, as ADMK's General Secretary and as the Chief Minister.

She was the opposition leader when I was the Deputy CM of Tamil Nadu and I am the opposition leader after she has been elected as the CM in 2016 Assembly elections. She has been stubborn in getting things done for Tamil Nadu as its leader. "

Earlier DMK Patriarch Kalaignar M.Karunanidhi who is admitted in Kaveri Hospital has sent a statement condoling Jayalalitha's death. "Though Jayalalitha has died at a young age her fame will live for ever" the Nonagenarian leader noted in his statement.
