The first combination of hat trick hero Shivarajakumar and national award winning actress Meera Jasmine as brother and sister in ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ (DKT) has completed the shooting. The audio release will be during Deepavali festival time and the film will hit the stands in November says producer cum director Om Saiprakash addressing the media on Wednesday morning.

‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ title of Dr.Rajakumar and BV Radha film in the mid 70’s is only repeated but the contents are different in this says brother and sister sentiment film specialist Om Saiprakash. The super hit of ‘Thavarige Baa Thangi, Anna Thangi’ where in Shivarajakumar and Radhika played the roles of brother and sister has earned a good standing in the business for director Om Saiprakash Rao. He is going alone as producer in this film. I have invested huge amount on this film and my calculations are materializing says Saiprakash keeping in mind the feelers he is getting from different areas for distribution rights.

Besides Shivarajakumar, Meera Jasmine, Monica performances, the music by Hamsalekha, the 47 minutes Digital Intermediate and graphics are the highlights of this film says Saiprakash. The inspiration for climax of this film is the yesteryears Kannada film ‘Boothayyana Maga Ayyu’. The similar flood is created in graphic effect says Saiprakash remembering the natural floods recently 18 districts of Karnataka.

‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ has completed the shooting recently at Kalabhaireshwara temple near Maddur. The flood scene for the film was shot at Shimsha. The shooting was also held at Rockline Studio, Kere Thonnur, Kari Ghatta, Ghati Subramanya, Vidurashwatha, Balamuri Falls disclosed director Saiprakash who is expecting very high results in the box office for this film.
