It was a huge gathering of fans at Kapali theatre for launch of DK` Kannada cinema. The audiences were there to whistle, clap and appreciate their screen heroes Kichcha Sudeep, Dr Ambarish, actor cum director Prem. At 11.30 am the formal lighting the lamp and first shot captured was unique for this DK`.

The first shot clapped by former Deputy CM R Ashok and switched on by Kichcha Sudeep was captured on the technicians of the film director Vijay Hampali, music director Arjun Janya, cameraman SD Anand, Manager Umesh, PRO Nagendra, costumer Ganesh, art director Prabhu, stunt director Mass Madha, choreographer Nagesh.

Later the teaser of the film with dialogues Jink Jak Madodu, Kaka Hodyodu, bucket hidyodu modalu bidro Soole Makkala - DK Nahin DK Saheb Bolo….was dialogue for actor Prem in a public place after getting down from motorbike. Later the heroine of the film Chytra was introduced. I have Bindhaas of role in this DK, your see and enjoy stated Chytra.

Wife of director cum actor Prem Rakshita suggested that shooting, post production would help the film release in October this year. Prem actor cum director working in the direction of Vijay Hampali said it takes one year of his films to come before audience. Rishikumara Swamiji declared that he has a powerful role to perform.

This time DK is the first one to hit the silver screen in 7.1 sound systems. Dr Ambarish arrived late to the event. He watched the promo made for the muhurut and blessed the team of the film. Soundarya Jagadish, HD Gangaraju, Nagaprasad were present on the dais.
