Are more and more film personalities getting miffed with critics? When 'Janatha Garage' was given bad ratings, a punch line from the movie was paraphrased to declare the 'irrelevance' of critics! "Cinema bagunte chalu, reviews tho pani lekunda yegabadi choostunnaru", so went a common refrain of the NTR and Koratala Siva's fans.

With 'DJ' minting money as if there is no tomorrow, and even the mediocre climax having its share of takers (sad, but true), its director Harish Shankar has almost suggested that critics shouldn't be given the importance they don't deserve.

To be fair to Harish, he is right in slamming personal comments that some bizarre reviews make. "You criticize the subject matter of a movie. You are welcome to do that. But some reviews say things like, 'Aa director ki kallu netthiki ekkai!'. Who the hell are you to decide that I am arrogant?" the star director lashed out during last night's event.

Once again, to drive home the alleged irrelevance of critics, an Allu Arjun punch line was paraphrased: "Oka manchi entertainer theesinappudu, revenue lu kanapadali thappa, review lu kanapadalsina avasaram ledu".

Not to be left behind, even superstar Bunny did his bit to ridicule negative (read unfavorable) reviews. "Negative reviews are nothing compared to my positivity," he pronounced.

Well, one is interested to wait and watch as to how long films like 'DJ' will be remembered by audiences. It will be sexy. Isn't it?
