Allu Arjun - Harish Shankar Combo 'DJ' Launched

'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham', the Harish Shankar-Allu Arjun-Dil Raju film, was launched today in Daiva Sannidhanam . Allu Aravind gave the clap, Shyam Prasad Reddy switched the camera on, and VV Vinayak directed the first scene.

Speaking on the occasion, the director said, "This is the 25th film in Dil Raju garu's banner. I have maintained relations with him since the days of 'Gabbar Singh'. I have wanted to direct Allu Arjun ever since I watched 'Arya'. Whenever asked for, Allu Aravind garu is available to tender his suggestions. The regular shoot will commence in September. We are planning to release the movie in the first week of April".

Dil Raju said, "After 'Arya' and 'Parugu', 'DJ' will be a hat-trick movie. It's exciting that this is the 25th movie in our banner. Since I have travelled with Harish Shanakr since the days of 'Gabbar Singh', we share healthy equations".

Music-directed by DSP, it has cinematography by Ayanka Bose. Editing is by Gautham Raju. Art direction is by Ravindar. Fights are by Ram-Lakshman. Screenplay is by Deepak Raj. Harish Shankar has written the story as well as dialogues.
