Recently a press meet that was organized by the team of Kannada film Jothegara witnessed a verbal battle between the heroine of the film Ramya (known as Divya Spandana in Kollywood) and some journos.

The actress had arrived late to a press meet followed by a dinner that was organized by the production team. In Divya’s version she has said that she was not invited for the press meet but she for the dinner party. The actress who claims she did not know about the press meet has said that she had already mentioned that she would be arriving late to the producer of the film, Ashwini Ramprasad, who had invited her for the dinner.

The entire team of the film as well as the press had to wait for the actress who arrived late. While the press meet was on one of the scribes pointed out that Divya was late and demanded an apology from her. Divya who was angered by the scribe’s rude comment asked him to leave the room.

The actress later revealed that she had to be rude to the scribe because she was provoked and felt insulted by his remark. She also felt she deserved some respect as a woman and as an actress.

Chaos ensued and the press meet was delayed for another hour. The producer was queried about the incident who informed that Divya had mentioned him about the delay.

Though we are not here to judge who was right and who was wrong we feel things would have gone smoothly if either one of them had reined their anger.
