Versatile Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known among south audience as well with his performance as the villain in superstar Rajinikanth starrer Petta has received a legal notice from his wife Aaliya Siddiqui claiming maintenance and divorce.

As per reports, the notice was sent to Nawazuddin on May 7 through email and WhatsApp and Nawazuddin is yet to respond to the notice. The 45-year-old actor is in his hometown Budhana with his family members and is under home quarantine for two weeks.

Aaliya has said that she doesn't want to bring the issues between them in public domain but revealed that problems between them started soon after their marriage in 2009. Saying that self-respect is important in a marriage, she revealed that she was made to feel like a nobody, and also faced issues from his brother Shamas. Saying that she has gone back to her original name, Anjana Kishor Pandey, she added that she doesn't want this marriage anymore and wants to get the sole custody of her two children.
