'Divide India into two parts': Telugu Christian Pastor in viral video

K Upendra Rao, a Christian pastor from Telangana, was recently filmed demanding the partition of India into two parts. He wants one part to be handed over to Christians.
Identified by the media as the Deputy Director of BOUI, Upendra has made the communal and bigoted demand on behalf of the All India True Christian Council. Demanding a separate country for Christians smacks of a pitiable mindset, several Netizens have said, calling out the anti-Hindu mindset of the pastor.
Commenting about the viral video, senior commentator Kanchan Gupta wrote, "He is either high on meth or low on meds."
A Twitter user called for legal recourse to try the pastor. "This is why we need strict laws in the country, everyone knows what’s happening with Afghanistan. Such people should be punished immediately with no considerations," he added.
At the time of writing, Upendra's video was going viral on social media.
