Power Star Pawan Kalyan has been invited to make an address at the Indian Conference-2017, a student-run conference at Harvard University in Boston. Although the actor is yet to accept the invite, it's a foregone conclusion that he won't give this forum a miss. It will not only give him an opportunity to address an international gathering in English, but also earn him coverage in national media if he slams the government for Demonetization, his pet issue in recent days.
Among the speakers at the event are Omar Abdullah, former Chief Minister of J&K, Rakesh Mehra, filmmaker of 'Rang De Basanti' fame, Manish Malhotra, the celebrated fashion designer, and Deepa Mehta, the acclaimed filmmaker of 'Fire' and 'Water' fame. As per the website, the theme of the event is: INDIA - THE GLOBAL GROWTH ENGINE. It will be held on Feb 11-12.
The invite seems to be a result of Pawan's dissent against Demonetization in recent days.
