The film has The Rock as Frank Wolff a wisecracking skipper who takes London esearcher, Dr. Lily Houghton, on the ride of her life down the Amazon on his ramshackle-but-charming boat.- La Quila.

'The Jungle Cruise' is based on the famous Disneyland theme park ride and focuses on the quest of Emily Blunt's character's quest to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.
