While the release of Harman Baweja starrer ‘Dishkiyaoon’ is just around the corner , audiences can expect some classic, old-school action on the lines of the cult Hollywood gangster film - ‘Goodfellas’.

If sources are to be believed, a certain scene in the action entertainer is fashioned on the lines of a popular scene in Goodfellas. In fact ‘Goodfellas’ is Harman's all-time favorite gangster film and the actor was extremely keen on incorporating a similar scene in ‘Dishkiyaoon’. Remarked the actor to sources, "Dishkiyaoon brings back the thrill in thrillers and the kind of action that was popular in the 70's and the 80's".

With music by Sneha Kanwelkar, Eros International and ESM's ‘Dishkiyaoon’ marks the directorial debut of Sanamjit Singh Talwar. Shot across several locations in Mumbai by German cinematographer Axel Fisher, the action entertainer aims to shed new light on the Mumbai underworld through the eyes of contemporary real characters.

The film is scheduled to release on March 28 2014.
