On September 6th, actress Laltihakumari's neice Abrina went missing and we had reported about the same.

Sadly the whereabouts of the child is still unknown and the parents of the 17 year old girl have lodged a complaint in the Pondy Bazaar police station in Chennai.

On Monday Sheryl the mother of Abrina and Lalithakumari met the media and press persons in Chennai. They said that despite the full support from the police personnel, the child could not be found. Both the women were shedding tears throughout the press meet.

She studies 12th standard in Church Park school. While inquiring with the school authorities it was found out that though there are 56 CCTV cameras attached within the school premises, they could not find out any clue about Abrina's disappearance. Even the police could not get any concrete information from the school authorities about the missing girl. The family doubts that the school authorities are not showing enough care to find out their missing student.

Lalithakumari said they are announcing this to the media because they believe that only with the media's help they can get back their child.

Abrina is the niece of Lalithakumari and her sister Disco Shanthi who is also a popular actress. Abrina's father Arunmozhi Varman works as an assistant director. Her paternal grandfather is yesteryear actor Anandan.
