Samantha did two Tamil films before she got her big opportunity to work with Gautham Vasudev Menon on Ye Maaya Chesave, in Telugu and she slowly started to spread her wings in Tamil too.
As her popularity in Telugu increased, Rajamouli's Eega, Tamil version Naan Ee made her popular in Tamil too. She grew in the Industry as a solid performer and with recent film, Super Deluxe, she showed that she can do any kind of a role, convincingly.
The actress in Telugu created a niche market for herself and she is in league of Nayantara, Anushka Shetty when it comes to carrying a film on her shoulders. She would be hoping to keep the momentum going and increase her market to their range in near future.
