Director Vetrimaran`s Visaranai` is making ripples before its release. The film which was recently screened in the Venice International Film Festival as the first Tamil film to be screened in the competitive category of that festival and also won an award for its content upholding the values of Human Rights.

Now the film has received a much deserved praise from the local circles. The person who is awestruck by Vetrimaran`s third directorial venture is none other than his peer director Vijay.
