It is common knowledge that Director Vetrimaaran is working on his upcoming film, 'Viduthalai Part 2', starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi. According to a recent update, he is set to revive one of his long-pending projects. Yes, actor Raghava Lawrence officially informed this on social media.
Raghava Lawrence was supposed to act in the film, 'Adhigaaram', written by Vetrimaaran. This movie was an action thriller jointly produced by S Kathiresan's Five Star Creations and Grassroot Film Company. Durai Senthilkumar of 'Ethir Neechal' and 'Kodi' fame was the director of the project initially. But there hasn't been any news after the announcement.
On Sunday, Raghava Lawrence shared a picture with Vetrimaaran and Kathiresan to confirm that 'Adhigaaram' will begin after he completes his two recently announced films. Sources tell us that 'Adhigaaram' will be directed by someone other than Durai Senthilkumar, who is now busy directing Soori's 'Garudan', which also has script penned by Vetrimaaran.

Iâm extremely happy and excited that I got an opportunity to work on a grandiose film written by Vetri Maran sir.
