Acclaimed director SP Jhananathan passed away on March 14 and his death has shocked movie lovers all over the state and people were seen sharing their condolences on social media. Many Film personalities like Vijay Sethupathi, Jayam Ravi, director Vetri Maaran, Ameer paid their final respects to the director.

Now three days since Jananathan's death his family has faced another death. Jananathan's younger sister Lakshmi passed away yesterday night due to a heart attack. This news was posted by Balamurali Varman, a scriptwriter and director.

It must be noted that Lakshmi was seen in Jananathan's funeral event and in an unexpected turn of events, she's no more now. Jananathan was rushed to Apollo Hospitals on March 11 after he fell unconscious and his final film Laabam is set to release in April.
