As per the reports, he was said to have a liver transplant soon as his liver is completely damaged. Now, Bala has posted a video from the private hospital in Chennai, where he is being treated.

Bala celebrated his second marriage anniversary with his wife Elizabeth by cutting a cake in the hospital. He released a video of it on Facebook. His uncle and aunt are also seen in the video. In the video, he said, "It's been almost a month since I last addressed my fans. Yes, I’m admitted to a hospital. I will undergo major surgery in two-three days."

"I may die. However, survival possibilities are greater. I hope I can move forward. Thanks to your prayers," added Bala. He is also a well-known actor in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Bala gained attention from Tamil fans by playing the role of Ajith's younger brother 'Veeram' and Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' both directed by his elder brother Siruthi Siva.
